Lee has been in pastoral ministry as a senior pastor in Evangelical Free churches in Oregon, Illinois and California. He served as Executive Director of Barnabas International leading the organization into ECFA membership, has been chairman of two boards of directors , led several major capital fund initiatives and led organizations through four building projects. Lee has experience in personnel development and organizational consulting. He has a Master of Arts in Pastoral Care and Counseling and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He developed several human resource training programs including; leadership training, team building, career assessment and personnel development. He has taught numerous seminars, provided counseling services within the missionary community and done extensive conference speaking around the world. Lee was a small college all star basketball player, smokejumper and did exhibition skydiving in youth ministry. He has a passion for expository biblical preaching and honoring Christ.
Along with several faithful partners Lee founded and served as president of Seed for the Sowers a foundation that funded evangelists and church planters in small villages in northern India. Working in partnership with ETANI, a division the Evangelical Fellowship of India, we saw God bless and during a period of ten years establish over one thousand churches.
Lee and his wife Bev have been married 55 years. They are currently actively retired and reside in middle Tennessee but willing to travel for ministry wherever God opens doors, leads and provides. Our goal is to stay “fresh and green” still yielding “fruit in old age” (Psalm 92:14). They served together as missionaries in Bolivia where their two daughters were born and now their growing family is active in various church ministries, Christian publishing and overseas mission work.
