Background/Bio

Author, speaker and trainer, Lee Hotchkiss, has served in pastoral ministry as a senior pastor in Evangelical Free churches in Oregon, Illinois and California as well as interim pastor in Iowa and Nebraska. He served in leadership as Executive Director of Barnabas International, has been chairman of two boards of directors and led several major capital fund initiatives and lead organizations through four building projects. Lee has experience in personnel development and organizational consulting. He has a Master of Arts in Pastoral Care and Counseling and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He developed several human resource training programs including; leadership training, team building, career assessment and personnel development. He has taught numerous seminars, provided counseling services and done extensive conference speaking around the world. Lee was a small college all-star basketball player, smoke jumper, and did exhibition skydiving in youth ministry. He has a special interest in teaching stress management from a Christian perspective and training people with practical God-centered ministry skills. He has a passion for expository biblical preaching.

Lee and his wife Bev have been married 48 years. They served together as missionaries in Bolivia where their two daughters were born. Three of their seven grandchildren are missionary kids whose parents serve as church planters in Japan.

Seminars, Workshops and Training Events - Lee has had a special interest in stress management for over 30 years and has taught hundreds of seminars on this subject from a Christian perspective. He has developed a method that applies systems theory to help understand the far reaching effects of stress and presents biblically sound interventions that the lay person can apply for more effective God-centered living. 

Missions Conferences, Pastor and Leader Conferences - Lee has done extensive conference speaking around the world. Lee serves as President of Seed for the Sowers, a foundation that supports evangelists and church planters in India.

Organizational Consulting and Team Building  -  Lee has experience in personnel development and organizational consulting. He has provided consulting services for a number of agencies and boards. He has helped scores of teams function more effectively by leading team building workshops. 

Men's Groups, Sports Banquets - Lee was a small college all-star basketball player, smokejumper and did exhibition skydiving in youth ministry.
